Žganje Oskar was born from the commitment to the quality of Batič wines and the tenants' biodynamic farming, a commitment that requires us to use only grapes from selected years in these wines - warm years with grapes with a high sugar content. The production of oskar brandy is also selective - for the production of oskar brandy, we only use grapes from cooler vintages, which are low in sugar and high in acidity. By working with nature and seeing vintages that are not optimal for winemaking as opportunities to produce great spirits, we can ensure that both our wines and our spirits are consistently of the highest quality. Warm years belong to our wines; the cold years belong to Brandy Oskar.
