The exceptional location of Rimac, precise biodynamic farming, triple thinning of the grapes and the weather conditions of the 2020 harvest led to the consistency of the taste of Angel Barbera wine. Barbera harvest took place on September 22. The grapes were picked by hand, sorted into 15-kilogram crates. After 15 days of maceration, the wine matured in 225-liter oak barrels, 50% in new, 50% in used. Angel Barbera, in search of taste perfection, contains, in addition to barbera from the Rimc region (93%), a pinch of merlot (7%) from the Šmihel region. After 26 months of maturation, Angel Barbera is bottled without filtration and without purification. During harvests, when the wines do not meet house standards, the latter wines are not bottled.
