Winery and viticulture has been involved in the 5th generation family, and it all started with the purchase of a basement that was built in l.1696. During this time, the counts of Lanthieri were reigned in Vipava, who are still known today as one of the most important landowners of the time.They built mansions, castles and cellars, as they also owned many vineyards.The situation in history, however, forced the Lanthieri family to withdraw from the Vipava Valley and so, all wonderful estates have owned different owners.We are proud that we own one of the oldest cellars in the Vipava Valley and that the tradition of winemaking and viticulture continues from generation to generation.
